Reese really wanted to take a picture...think she did pretty good.

Brother and sister forever.

Last Friday Jonathan and I took the kids to Oceanside beach. We had so much fun. It was really neat to sit aside and watch the kids explore in the sand. They truly had tons of fun. Reese keeps asking when are we going back. Here is some pictures of our day. Enjoy

time to update

Officially RN student! Graduate of Dec 2011!! Here I come.

"Little Audra" at her best. I heart her so very much.
My little man @ his birthday party.

My heart and soul. I love you Jonathan!!!

Kevin's 9th birthday...love Reese's smile :)

So....I know that I have not updated since Reese's 4th birthday. Well lots have happened. Let me have a run down. Oct 22, 2009 I received a letter of acceptance to the RN program from MSJC. I was super excited and called Jon right way. I started my first semester on Jan 24, 2010 and completed my three courses on June 1, 2010. I passed all my classes. At the beginning of the semester I was out of control. It took a lot of me to not want to help out with the kids and the housework. But truly nursing school is a full time job. Anyone who can work and go to nursing school is completely insane. All I did the first 8 weeks was STUDY. Now that am on summer break...am enjoying being home with my family. January 8th Kevin turned 9. We went to John's Incredible Pizza. Which he totally loves. We had fun with family surrounding every minute. Kevin passed third grade with flying colors. He is now a fourth grader. He is growing up so fast. But with all the growing up he was always be my Dada's. Forever and ever. As far as Reese is going, she is outgoing, big personality, light of my life. She is who I was at 16....but the child is only 4. She is "little Audra". That's what Jon calls her. She hates it when we do call her that. But it is so true. Even know my little angel is going up fast she will forever be my little mama's. She is so special. Reese is going to start kindergarten this coming August. She will be joining Kevin in the dual immersion program. She couldn't be happier. Kevin and Reese played little league this pass spring. Reese was in t-ball and Kevin was in the mustang division. Both of them did so good. Reese is a natural just like her mommy. So with all that has passed Jon and I are still going strong in our marriage as well as a family with children. I could not ask for anyone more special to my heart then Jonathan. He is my right hand man. We have been married for 11 years this past April. Hopefully when we reach our 15th we can take an Hawaiian vacation with the kids. Jon has had some medical issues that we hope to get solved in July. Since last August he has lost 25 pounds for no reason. He has experienced minor pain in his abdomen. Overall he is a lot better and has not been having any pain at all. He is still not gaining an weight but that is not a bad thing...(j/k). It is a good thing that he lost some weight. I think he likes his new improved slimmer figure.

Well, coming this August a lot of things will be happening in the Medina household. Look for updates. Reese starting kinder, Kevin as a 4th grade, Audra as a 2nd semester RN student. (yeah), Jon as a father, husband, financial supporter, house cleaner, dinner maker, laundry folder, duster, etc...Well you get the point. He truly is AMAZING. I love you Jonathan. You have always been my heart. Hopefully it won't take me this long before the next update.

Happy 4th Birthday Reese!!!

Birthday girl on Alice and Wonderland

Goofy and his daughter Reese...perfect match!!!

So, yesterday was Reese's 4th birthday. Her and I went to celebrate at Disneyland. We had so much fun. Just the two of us. I let her pick and do anything she wanted. That meant that we stood in line to take pictures with the characters...which we don't normally do because the lines are so crazy. After Disneyland we all went to Sizzler to celebrate with the rest of the Medina family. The Slaten/Gomeztrejo party is this coming Sunday....will post more.

Kevin's first day of third grade.

love my little girl and my little man

So today Kevin started third grade. I have mixed emotions about Kevin growing up. I love to see him start new adventures in life but also want to be apart of his every move. Today I walked him into school and he pretty much said "alright mom see ya". It's a good thing that he is comfortable with his peers and loves going to school. I guess I just wanted him to need me more. Here are some pictures of Kevin sporting the purple in third grade...If you can't see he is also wearing purple shoes. Also...Reese just had to have her picture taking this morning as well. Notice the pose she offered. to cute.

Micheal Jackson's home

So I know that I have not posted in a while...here are some random pictures of what our summer has been going. Key places...Griffin Observatory, Dodger Game, Redondo Beach and Micheal Jackson home. We drove around all over LA. That was exciting in itself. With everything that we have done this summer I would have to say that the observatory has to be the best so far. Even Reese (3 years old) enjoyed her time. It was amazing. A must see. Also here are some updated pictures of our time spent with Zoe..

Curly Reese

I got these curlers and decided I roll Reese's hair. Here's a picture of her hair rolled.

Day at the museum

Friday Fun...so every Friday I dedcided that I would take my kids to some where special that they have never been before. So last Friday we went to the San Bernardino Museum. We seen Madagascar Hissing Cockroachs, Giant Australian Leaf Insects, Kevin held a snake with help, got scared by a buffalo, a giant polar bear, and much more educational excitiment. We had a great time with family and friends...thanks Lorena and Kiley. Here some picture of our day.
